Cyvia Intent Router: enterprise model routing on cost, control, and quality
Cyvia Intent Router

Cut your AI bill without losing control of your data.

Most enterprises send every request to one frontier model and pay frontier prices for all of it. Intent Router understands what each request actually needs, then routes it to the model that fits, on cost, capability, and policy. You spend less, get better output, and control where your data goes, and why.

Lower cost.Full control. No loss in quality.

Up to 60% lower cost than defaulting to a frontier model. Internal BFSI evaluation.

Why AI routing is hard

Nothing in the request path understands the request.

To route well, something has to know what each request is, how hard it is, and what rules apply, in the milliseconds before it runs. Almost nothing does. The routers that exist read the request thinly, from length or keywords, and guess.

So enterprises fall back on the one option that works: send everything to the most capable model and pay for it. Easy requests and hard ones pay the same top price, and the bill climbs faster than the value does.

Routing on understanding

It understands what the request needs, then routes on it.

Intent Router unpacks each request before it runs. In a few milliseconds it works out what the request is, how complex it is, the domain it belongs to, and the rules that apply. It routes on that understanding, not on a guess.

What comes out is the cheapest model that is also approved for the data and capable of the work.

COST
Most requests do not need the frontier

Intent Router sends them to leaner, faster models and saves the frontier for the work that earns it. Up to 60% lower cost than routing everything to a frontier model by default, on an internal BFSI evaluation.

CONTROL
Every request checked against your rules

Regulated work stays on an approved model, you see which model and provider served it, and there is a record of why.

QUALITY
Every request meets a model suited to it

Because the router understands what each request needs, cheaper does not mean weaker.

The cheapest model that is approved and capable. On every request.

What it routes on

One request, read on every axis that matters.

The engine emits a rich set of signals about each request, and any of them can drive a routing rule you define. Not one difficulty score, but a picture: what the task is, how much reasoning it needs, how confidential it is, where it is allowed to run, and how it executes. The router matches the model to the request on every axis, not on a single guess at how hard it looks.

Control, made concrete

Routing is a decision about your data. Intent Router treats it like one.

A general router chases the cheapest model with no regard for where your data is allowed to go. Intent Router delivers real savings and output quality, without forcing you to give up that control.

CONTROL OF YOUR DATA

The router reads how sensitive each request is and routes on it, so it still reaches for the cheapest model, but keeps regulated work on a sovereign or in-VPC model rather than sending it to the cheapest endpoint by default. You always know which provider actually served a request, so your data never quietly crosses a border you did not choose.

CONTROL OF THE CHOICE

You set the policy, and the router holds it, run economy where it is allowed and keep the line where it matters, as rules rather than one blanket setting that overpays everywhere to stay safe. The same request routes the same way every time, so the behaviour is auditable, not scattered across providers from one run to the next.

CONTROL OF THE EVIDENCE

Every routing decision is recorded, what the router read, the model it picked, and why. So when a regulator or an internal reviewer asks why a request ran where it did, you have the answer in hand, not a reconstruction after the fact.

Everything a general router does. Everything it cannot.

Built and configured to you

It arrives knowing your domain. Then it learns your rules.

Good routing takes real understanding of your work. Intent Router comes with that understanding built in, then lets you tune it to your organisation.

Two levels of fit. The expertise of your vertical, and the rules of your organisation.

LEVEL ONE · THE VERTICAL PACK
It ships knowing your field

Intent Router comes pre-built with the knowledge of your field. It knows what a request in BFSI or healthcare looks like, which work is sensitive, and which models suit which tasks in your domain, so it routes well from the first request rather than after months of tuning.

LEVEL TWO · YOUR CONFIGURATION
Then you make it yours

Set what to optimise for, lowest cost, tightest latency, strictest data boundaries, or a balance, and set the rules that reflect your policies. The router weighs every request against your objectives and the models available to you. Change the objective and the routing changes with it, with no work in your applications.

Lowest cost Tightest latency Strictest boundaries or a balance
Invisible by design

A router in the request path has to disappear into it.

Intent Router decides inside the request, not in front of it, so traffic keeps moving. The engine classifies each request in single-digit milliseconds, too fast to feel. And the speed holds under real load, no stalls or spikes when a request is unusual.

Same model catalog. Cyvia wins the lanes enterprises buy on, and adds what a general router structurally cannot.

On a fixed three-model catalog, with the comparator configured by an independent adversarial reviewer and every answer graded blind, Cyvia won all three primary lanes against an industry-leading general-purpose router, on about a quarter of the cost. The larger gap is everything an enterprise needs around the answer.

WHERE A CONSUMER HORIZONTAL ROUTER BREAKS ON ENTERPRISE WORK

Each of these is a structural property of a general, consumer-grade router, not a bug that gets patched next week. Cyvia is built the other way around each one.

RISK-BLIND ROUTING

Chases the cheapest model with no read on sensitivity, and swept a 6-request sensitivity check 6-0-0 the wrong way.

Cyviaroutes on confidentiality, so regulated work stays on an approved model.
NO CONDITIONAL POLICY

0/8 on conditional economy compliance. The only workaround is a blanket setting that overpays, at about 2.2x the cost.

Cyviaholds policy as rules, economy where allowed, the line where it matters.
LATENCY UNPREDICTABILITY

Auto-routing p95 hit 94.9 seconds when a consumer flash model ran away to 81k reasoning tokens.

Cyviapicks for the request, so latency holds under real load.
PROVIDER OPACITY

A model can be served through an upstream provider you never chose, which for regulated data is a border you did not agree to.

Cyviashows which provider actually served each request.
NO DECISION TRACE

No record of what was read or why a request went where it did, so an audit becomes a reconstruction after the fact.

Cyviarecords every decision, the signals, the model, and the reason.
NON-DETERMINISTIC ROUTING

Same-lane prompts scattered across four vendors from one run to the next, a compliance reviewer's nightmare.

Cyviaroutes the same request the same way every time.
One engine, one form of control

The same engine that routes your data also readies it and governs it.

Intent Router understands a request to decide where it runs. The same engine reads your data at rest, so Data Lens can classify what you hold and ready it for AI. And it reads each action at runtime, so Intent Gateway can allow or block what an agent is about to do. One engine, reading intent at the three points where you can lose control of your data, at rest, in motion, and in action.
